As you already know the Palm doesn’t make cheap component products. It is most likely due to the fact that their products don’t pull in enough revenue. Anyhow, it is a great product. I run with it, listen on the train, and use it for business purposes.

This is my 2nd pair, my first were lost after a few months of solid service. Sound quality is nothing stellar, but these are solid, dependable, and shipping was pretty fast!!

I had purchased 2 of these stereo handsfree headsets. Although they were delivered very fast, within 3 days of purchase, joy turned to frustration. Within 1 week of ownership and only one day of use, both headsets stop working. The microphone in fact stopped working on both of the headsets. There was no damage done to them so I have to assume it is made of low quality materials. I am trying to return them right now for a full refund and I will update my review upon completion.

When you pay 3.99 for a set of earphones (minus shipping), you don’t expect much in the way of sound quality, but these ear buds surprised me. The sound is rich and pretty full. Better in the high end than in the bass, but still for 3.99………trumpets, saxes, pianos, come out very nicely. Bass is a bit muted. But overall, very nice sound for the price. I like the call-interruption feature, which pauses the song when you press the mic button, and then starts it again when the call is done. Conversation quality is good. I would have given five stars but for two reasons…..first, even with the foam pads on, they can slip out, and you spend a good amount of time adjusting the buds so they don’t. The other reason is a dig at Palm:
Shame on you, Palm for using a 2.5 mm jack, and not the universal sized 3.5 mm jack, forcing Centro users to have to go on Amazon, search, buy, and then wait for a stupid pair of ear buds. That’s it…….overall, an nice accessory for your Palm, works well.

I’m very happy with this headset/headphones. They work great and the sound is as good as my mp3 player.
