I am going to buy this 5530 XpressMusic Unlocked Smartphone. The Amazon.com quoted that this is U.S. Version. Can somebody let me know whether this phone can display Chinese lanaguage. Let’s say if I browse Chinese website, does the browser support Chinese lanaguage. If I loaded Chinese title MP3, can the phone display Chinese character. Hope somebody can help me on this? Tks.

I am truly happy with my new Nokia… I love the fact that I am able to record, take a picture and for sure the most interesting thing is being able to write SMS… I would recommend everyone to get the same one… My boyfriend wants it already for Christmas…
Thank you Amazon

I am just fed up with Symbian as an operating system. Almost all of my phones have been Nokia, but I have never had any luck with their S60 phones. They have either had lousy volume issues or so many software bugs that the phone was unusable. This, I thought, was a good phone. I don’t really want a gps or 3G(there is no 3G where I live). Everything was fine until the phone started freezing up. I was on a call and it froze, had to take out the battery. Charging it and it froze, had to take out the battery.
**UPDATE**
No change. For me, there are too many bugs still in the touch version of Symbian. I been on some European blogs with others who are having some similar issues. Another issues being brought up is ear piece volume issues like the 5800 had. I did not have that experience with the 5530. The volume was great, I just had to keep removing the battery to reboot and use the phone. Sent the phone back.

After use it for one month, the shortcut key disappeared, plus the dial key won’t work anymore, now I can either only make call from the main menu contact book to those already saved in the phone book or can only receive call from others. Thats very annoying and I went to the nokia website discussion board, and I was shocked that there are actually many people have this problem and nokia didn’t provide a possible solution to fix that. Instead, there are some folks suggest to hack the cell phone with a software call “hellox2.0″ and go through a very long and complex process in order to fix the problem. Don’t waste money on this junk, I should have spent little more to get an iphone.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic phone is absolutely beautiful when you have it in front of you. I bought this phone for my fiancee and I had the urge to keep it! The phone is not one for the super tech-savvy individuals so I don’t know what the purpose is of comparing it to the high-end, high-tech phones. What you have with this XpressMusic phone is looks + what I consider the new-basics of cellular use. The “new-basics” include: Great Call-clarity, Music-playing capabilities, excellent sounding speakerphone, memory card storage, a vibrant touch-screen, sturdy phone casing, and smartphone enhanced features like social networking, etc.
If you are looking for a phone that will provide you with a lot of features, at a moderate price, with beautiful looks, then this is the ONE!
