I got this product when my 4 year old started wanting to use it to protect it from the unexpected falls. It has worked as advertised. My only complaint would be the screen protector which never stuck quite right and looked like there were tons of bubbles under it. I removed it, and it’s still working well.

I’m rating it 3 stars only because I can’t do half stars. I’d say this is really a 3.5 star product though, so keep that in mind.
First, the good. It’s sleek. Has a nice feel in the palm of my hand, it’s not rubbery but I don’t feel insecure when holding it (i.e. fear of slippage). I like the opaqueness of the back panel. And to that end, I like the color overall. I also like that it comes with a sturdy plastic screen cover, rather than a sticky film. I love that all ports and buttons are not covered up.
And now, the not so good. The paint is peeling. It started peeling on the second day. It’s not terribly noticeable because the white peeling paint reveals a another layer of white. The only problem is that this second layer is shinier than the matte finish of the top. A product this new should not have peeling paint! Had this not been the case, this case would have easily garnered a 5 starer from me.
So there you go!
Update:
Well, here it is a week later and I’ve chucked this case. It just wouldn’t stop shedding paint. The white began looking dirty. The screen protector became really scratched. I must amend my original review and conclude that this case was not worth the money. I would also drop it down to two stars if Amazon would let me.

There are some key problems with this case.
1. It leaves a gap that doesn’t connect correctly in the upper right hand corner of the phone. The case is made of two parts and they fit together nicely, other than this place. I’m not sure why it doesn’t connect there.
2. The white case has some sort of matte finish on it, that immediately started peeling away after I put it on my phone. After a week, large chunks of this white gummy plastic finish were falling off in my pocket.
3. The gaps around the edges allowed dust and particles to collect in there, and trapped them against the phone.
4. It’s also pretty bulky really, which was not ideal, but not a functional problem.

I have used a few different iPhone 3G cases (on my iPhone and my wifes) and I have to say that this case is hands down the best out there. The case is snug around all corners of the phone, leaves the buttons very accessible and has “rubbery” grip to stop the phone from sliding in your hand.
The case is a hard rubber form (does not move like rubber) and provides ample protection while feeling great in your hand. The case comes with a screen protector that I discarded. The stick on film protectors are better in my opinion.
Overall an excellent case for the money.

This case fits the iPhone 3G perfectly, allowing easy access to all the ports and buttons. The surface is smooth, but not slippery, so it could help to prevent some falls. I much prefer it to the gel-style case I’d bought at the ATT store, as it feels sleeker, and much more like a “naked” iPhone. The only issue I’ve noticed is a slight gap at the top of the case, where the two pieces meet.
