This would be a nice case, but no matter how clean my Iphone is, there are always bubbles between the screen protector and the screen. This bothers me to the point where I cannot use this case.

I like the feel of this cover. It’s very comfortable to hold and it seems like it will protect the phone well although I have not dropped it yet, so I can’t say for sure.
My only complaint is how difficult it is to take off and put back on. I have to do this rather frequently to clean the clear cover it comes with, and it is somewhat cumbersome. Hopefully that means that is a good protection for the phone though.

The plastic coating that gives this case its color WILL come off of after very little time and use. I’m talking about normal, everyday use. Both my gray and green case were terrible looking after only a few days. A complete waste of money, a terrible product, do not buy under any circumstances.

Looks nice (for awhile). Fit could be tighter. The coating started to peel off the case the first day I had it. I could not believe it. I have had to scrape of the remaining coating off the make it look ok. Also has a tendency to catch and make the screen protector bubble up which is weird because it’s the one they supply. (The 2 pack green/black does not come with peel and stick. the single pack does.)
I would not recommend. Griffin does make good quality products but this is not one of them. It was made stictly to look cool and nothing else. Just like a hot pair of shoes!!

I have used my Griffin iphone 3G wave case for going on 6 months, and love it. I have probably dropped my phone on the pavement from “purse height” 10 times, and onto the floorboard of my car 100 times and have avoided any damage whatsoever to my phone. (I have several friends who used no case, who are on their 3rd iphone in that same 6 months, having dropped and cracked the screen from a 12-18 inch fall onto a hard surface –a case for the iphone is a MUST). I have never found it difficult to get on or off, and I have to wonder if the negative reviewers who couldn’t get it to fit well might have gotten the wave for original iphone instead of the 3G case (I was warned against this in the store after almost purchasing the wrong version). I should state, however, that I did not use the included plastic, somewhat thick, free floating screen protector because the holes did not line up well with the speaker and home key and it seemed that the screen was not as responsive. –I purchased separately a “stick on” screen protector (the 2 pack from the Applestore for $14.99), and put the case on after applying that screen protector (and I found no reduction in screen responsiveness). I like the silicon finish (somewhere in between rubber and plastic) which keeps it from sliding around if you set it on, say, the dashboard of your car.
