The pattern is more interesting than basic black. Seems to cover microphone port a little too much, but you could trim or file away some of the material if necessary. Came with a cheap white plastic belt clip that I won't be using. The back cover projects out a little bit where the belt clip would attach, so when the phone is placed on a hard flat surface, it will rock a little while in use. The pattern does not extend onto the edges and backsides of the covers, so I simply used a permanent black marker to touch up the visible portions. In all other respects, the fit and finish is good.
